Afterschool Program:

STEM Session: Creating Geometric 3-D Structures from Magnetic Tiles.

Kids are Visual thinkers. They made these shapes using imagination and memory almost independently. They learnt Technical Names during or after building.

If you think about it, we know various 3-D shapes intuitively.

What 3-D shapes can you name in the picture above?

(Hint: Hexagon is a 2-D shape, but a Hexagonal Prism is a 3-D Structure)
